Some family moments!

Here is Sekona with his arms full of sleepy children! As soon as I pulled out the camera, Sekona opened his eyes! A nice Sunday afternoon!
Sekona's future MVP! Makelani loves talking to his dad when he gets home from work.
A trip at the mall and Makelani was talking about what was going on around him. Also, happy to be up and about.
Lillian smuther's Makelani! No matter what is going on, Lillian has to sneak in a kiss every few seconds! She has even been talking how she wishes she could marry Makelani, because then family will be still together. After explanations she know understands, still even with constant reminders to let her brother sleep and to leave him alone her response is always: I can't help myself he is just soooo cute!

A few moments of Makelani!

Here is Make's first stroller ride! He loved it and fell asleep. He loves moving and so the stroller is a good fit for him. Unfortunately, the car seat is not a good fit. There isn't enough excitement in the car seat.
Lillian's new thing to do with Makelani is to put him in a box and push him around. Make is unsure of this, but is willing to try things for Lillian.
A few of Make's moments of being up and happy! Our boy is growing and growing fast. He is constantly seeking things out and looking for things to do. I can tell he isn't going to be a satisfied without being mobile.

A few Lillian Moments!

Lillian loves to pretend she knows how to dance polynesian. As Dad was getting ready to do a luau she got all decked out & did her hula. She loves to tell people she was born in Tonga & is a Hawaiian girl. We work on switching it around, at least she gets the gist of it.
Lately, she has been coming to me asking me for homework. I write a few sentences on a paper and then she copies them. She does well in copying, just refuses to remember her letters. I'm sure she will pick it up in school. The sentences are: I love swim. ant on ball, & Lillian loves daddy.

Christmas 2009

Christmas was hectic this year! Makelani came a few weeks before Christmas, Mom and Dad were heading on their 3rd mission to Jacksonville, Florida, and Lillian was excited or Santa to come!

Family Reunion 2009

For Thanksgiving our family decided to have a Family Reunion. We rented a cabin in Ashton, Idaho and we all gathered together. We planned on having family pictures taken and therefore, had family colors chosen so no matter where our kids were in the picture you knew who they belonged to. Even though I was 37 weeks pregnant I was determined to be there. It had been 12 years since we had had a family picture and I didn't want me being pregnant be the cause of why I couldn't be there. So, we drive to Boise and spent the night at a hotel on the drive down. I didn't think much of it and just took it all into account (traveling as I have always). When we arrived at the hotel, it was the worst night--I thought we might have to make a stop at the hospital because I was in so much pain. I wasn't sure how I was going to make it home, because on the return trip we couldn't stop so Sekona could make it back to work. The trip back was surprisingly better than the trip to the cabin. We just made more stops on the way back. Here we are taking pictures outside the cabin by the river.
Here are Mother and Daughter!
Again out by the river with Sekona expressing his love for Makelani coming soon!
Father and Daughter!
The current family picture of siblings and their spouses!
All the grandchildren present and counted for!
